Homeless Ministries
Bringing hope to the streets of Wichita.

Support to Survive
A large part of homeless ministries is providing basic necessities required to survive. Food, clothing, coats, gloves, and blankets during winter, hygiene items, shoes, and more. Our team supplies these items year round through distributions that take place on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month.
Faith in Adversity
People need hope and faith to believe a better life is possible. While homelessness is a serious problem that is often complicated to solve, we believe that every person has the ability to regain their life and get off of the streets. We believe that God, and faith, play a huge role in almost every success story. Our homeless ministry team directors, AJ & Ladonna Frischenmeyer, who lived homeless for nearly 10 years are proof that it's never too late for God to change someone's life.

The Extra Mile
When we identify an individual that we believe is serious about making the changes needed to get off of the streets, we are willing to invest additional resources to help. This can mean help with obtaining legal identification necessary to get a job, help finding employment, and in some cases even help with the funding needed to get someone on their feet in permanent housing. Recently we were blessed to help a mother get a job, transportation, and get her and her children off the streets and into an apartment.

Directors of EMM Homeless Outreach
AJ & Ladonna spent nearly a decade living homeless right here in Wichita. Their story of redemption is a powerful reminder that it's never too late for God to change a person's life.
Additionally, their experience living on the streets of Wichita provides our ministry with vital insight into the world of homelessness. Their unique life experience brings with it the intuition needed to help us identify the best practices for ministering to the homeless.
