The Philippines

The ministry of "meals"
We met these children in Manila. They are homeless, living with about 8 other children on the same street corner. There are two mothers who also live with these kids, homeless in Manila.

Pictured here, the first thing this boy did when we gave him a box of food was to start feeding the baby. Watching these young children lean on each other for survival was heart wrenching.
It's hard for most of us to believe the suffering many children are living in. It seems impossible in an "advanced society" that children could live like this anywhere. But they do. We've seen it with our own eyes. And it happens more than you'd think.

We believe it's important to provide basic necessities like food and clothing in these situations. Often a meal to fill a hungry stomach opens the door of the heart for the gospel.

Teaching at the tombs
These children live behind these tombs. Each square pictured here is a tomb. The children belong to a community of homeless families who have built an encampment behind these tombs.

Each week we help provide the food and resources to make these weekly kids programs happen in these communities that are often called "slums" in the Philippines. Children will sing songs each week, get fed, and hear the gospel.

In these programs alone, we will provide approximately 35,000 meals to children this year.

Prison Ministry
The gospel is for everyone, everywhere. This includes men and women who find themselves locked up in prison. The prison ministry includes us providing a hot meal to each prisoner and then sharing the gospel with them. It's a humbling experience to preach to people through bars.

As difficult as prison ministry can be, often it is a fertile field to sow into. Sometimes when people have hit rock bottom they are more open to hearing about redemption, salvation, and faith for a better future.
The harvest is plentiful
The sheer volume of ministry happening in the Philippines is difficult to overstate.

Child sponsorship
Sponsor a child. Change a life. Build the church.
Our child sponsorship programs are designed to help churches reach their communities. We provide resources, curriculum, food, backpacks, school supplies, medical and dental support, and more to the children who are part of our bible-based sponsorship programs.

For a child to qualify, they must attend the program regularly. These programs operate out of local churches that we personally vet. The goal is helping churches reach their communities. The method is by creating programs that children want to attend. The model that makes it possible is sponsorship.
Sponsors will write letters back and forth with their sponsored children and be able to purchase gifts at specific times (like Christmas) for their sponsored children.
Travel with us on a mission trip to the Philippines and you can meet your sponsored child personally.
Sponsorship is just $25 per month.
